Xin
Sheng Building is planned to
be developed into a modern,
high-quality Grade A twin office
towers,comprising a south tower
with 21 floors ( approximately
88 meters high ) and a north
tower with 20 floors ( approximately
84.1 metres high ) which are
connected through a 11-storey
basement and a 3-storey retail
podium.
It is located at Site 4, Area
A, Finance Street, Xin Cheng
District, Beijing. Finance Street
was planned as a national financial
centre as part of the Overall
Plan of Beijing City approved
by the State Council in October,
1993. The street is approximately
1,700 metres in length and occupies
an area of approximately 1,030,000
sq.m., with Fu Xing Men Nei
Street to the south and West
Second Ring Road to the west.
The total planned GFA for the
street is approximately 3 million
sq.m., of which approximately
one third had been completed
as at December 31,2002. Many
national financial regulatory
authorities and State banks
and State owned enterprises
have already established their
head offices or regional head
offices in Finance Street, as
well as other commercial banks,insurance
companies and other financial
and non-financial institutions.
